Tegucigalpa.-La empresa farmacéutica de la familia Gutiérrez, Astropharma utilizó cinco registros sanitarios falsos para participar en los procesos de licitación y expandió medicamento adulterado para surtir las farmacias de los hospitales públicos de Honduras, confirmó este miércoles el Ministerio Público (MP).
La acusación contra la empresa propiedad de la familia de la vicepresidenta del Congreso Nacional, Lena Karim Gutiérrez, fue divulgada en las redes sociales del Ministerio Público, donde además se informó que la Fiscalía Especial de Impugnaciones presentó este miércoles un recurso de reposición en contra de la resolución proferida el 14 de diciembre pasado por la Corte de Apelaciones Natural, mediante la cual se beneficia al directivo de la farmacéutica, Carlos Alberto Zamora Bautista.
En su escrito, el MP destaca aspectos fundamentales que prueban la comisión de delitos como la utilización de 5 registros sanitarios falsificados y un dictamen toxicológico que ratifica “de forma contundente” lo señalado por el Colegio Químico Farmacéutico, “en relación al medicamento distribuido”, dice el texto del ente fiscalizador del Estado.
La prueba concluye que el producto no cumplió con las dimensiones geométricas y componentes requeridos para tratamientos de diferentes patologías.
En tal sentido, el MP está a la espera que la Corte de Apelaciones Natural emita resolución, a efecto de dictar auto de formal procesamiento contra Zamora Bautista.
A Zamora Bautista se le imputan los delitos de falsificación de documentos públicos, delitos contra la salud pública, uso de documentos falsos y otros fraudes
En este caso fueron acusados 16 personas entre ellos la exvicepresidenta del Congreso Nacional, Lena Karim Guitérrez, su padre, el empresario Marco Tulio Gutiérrez y sus hermanos Julio y Ginette Gutiérrez.
En julio del año pasado la vice presidenta del Parlamento hondureño quedó libre tras el pago de una fianza de 20 millones de lempiras. En tanto su hermana Ginette Gutiérrez goza de la misma medida sin haber pagado ni un tan solo centavo al Estado hondureño. Por el momento su padre Marco Tulio y su hermano Julio Gutiérrez, son los únicos que se encuentran bajo arresto domiciliario.
